This Treasury Manager will be responsible for acting as Treasury's foreign exchange risk manager. The Treasury Manager will be responsible for the following items.Lead, manage and execute foreign exchange corporate-wide hedging strategies and activities.Advise and report to senior management on corporate hedging activity and results.Develop plans and lead projects to implement global foreign exchange processes.Participate in treasury related projects that interact with other groups (ie Tax, Accounting, GSO, SFS, etc.).Develop and lead training modules for those involved in forecasting foreign exchange exposures.Continuously monitor foreign exchange risks.Access and maintain reports in the following systems Quantum, Fxall, Reuters, Bloomberg, Reuters, Oracle, Essbase, Brio (and any other related treasury system). (Strong spreadsheet skills required). Provide process consulting and act as treasury's liaison with other groups regarding foreign exchange.Maintain and improve functionality of treasury website.Back-up the treasury's Cash & Investments FGP personnel in the case of an absence or extended project. MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: Education/Background required: A four year degree in finance/accounting/economics or related field.5 years of experience in treasury, banking.Strong knowledge and aptitude for foreign exchange. (ie knowledge of the above systems would be beneficial).Other:HTML knowledge preferred CFA, CCM helpful Familiarity with Sun systems helpful Reuters and Bloomberg knowledge preferred REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: This position requires significant financial skills as well as some technical expertise in treasury systems technology and treasury business practices. More specifically, the candidate should have strong knowledge of cash management, foreign exchange, investments, capital markets, and general accounting skills. In addition, an aptitude for systems as well as analytical skills and strong verbal and written communication skills are required.The ideal candidate has experience in a world-class corporate foreign exchange environment. The candidate must also have familiarity with advanced risk management, corporate finance concepts/practices, and relevant accounting and tax parameters. The candidate must also have familiarity with foreign currency hedging tools and techniques.
